Often misunderstood, underestimated and undervalued by business and marketing leaders, Design is one of the most important and impactful business disciplines for any organisation, whatever its challenges to help brands grow.

Tom Gilbert, Group ECD of Design Bridge and Partners, recently travelled to SXSW Sydney to host a panel discussion at the WPP House with key figures from the world of Art, Marketing, Tech and Innovation.

Joined by Leo Roberts, IMX Director at Coca-Cola ASEAN and South Pacific, Chris Moschos, Innovation Director at Lion, and Gabby Malpas, Professional Artist, the panel explored a broad and elevated definition of what Design really is, covered the skill-set of the Designer and how that is different to those from other disciplines, and showcased ideas and examples of the extraordinary impact of Design – making the case for why every brand needs to place Design front and centre in its plans.
