The Power of Sport

We will be joined by Invictus Games, Made by Sport, and O2, to discuss how sport benefits brands, communities and society today.

It’s easy to underestimate the positive role that sport plays in our lives. It keeps us fit and sane. It motivates us to aim for inner greatness and succeed. It fuels our passions, teaches us some of life’s most valuable and enduring lessons. It defines who we are, and who we aspire to be.

Sir Keith Mills, Deputy Chairman of London 2012 and the driving force behind Made by Sport campaign, will discuss his experience in creating brands that bring us together through the power of sport.

Dominic Reid, OBE, CEO of Invictus Games, will describe how Invictus Games became a global force that shifted our perceptions of sporting achievement like never before.

And Gareth Griffiths, Head of Sponsorship at O2, will share his lessons of winning the commercial sponsorship game by becoming the ‘Number One Fan’ to England Rugby, connecting technology and new audiences with the O2 brand.
