The Breakup Coloring Book

A heart-warming book to celebrate the unique ways different cultures comfort those after a breakup.

Heartbreak is universal. But when a bad breakup and a conversation between friends led to a chance discovery that different cultures turn to very different and unique metaphors for consolation and words of wisdom, they created a heart-warming colouring book to celebrate the wise sayings from around the world.

Introducing a World-Class Guide to Heartbreak: The Breakup Coloring Book. Designed and illustrated by Senior Designer, Fu Le, and conceptualised by friends, Leon Lin and Etienne Ma - a cross-cultural team based in Singapore and New York.

It's not just "plenty of fish" that are still out there. It's trees, fruits, flowers and a whole world of metaphors to turn to in times of heartache. From "there are orange trees elsewhere that grow oranges" (Greek), to "don't give up the whole forest for one tree" (Chinese), we've collected 11 consolations to celebrate the unique ways different cultures comfort those after a breakup. Some are funny, some are comforting, and some are brutally honest. Each one is beautifully illustrated, offering hours of immersive colouring for anyone to find solace and soothe their broken heart.
