Ila wins Best Visual Identity at Transform Awards MEA

Congratulations to ila, Bank ABC and our team, who take home the award for Best Visual Identity at this year's Transform Awards MEA. 

Bank ABC's digital mobile-only bank took home three awards including Best Overall Visual Identity and Best Visual Identity from the Financial Services Sector at one of the industry's most prestigious awards. In its seventh year, Transform Awards MEA celebrates the transformative power of brand strategy and design across the Middle East and Africa. 

As the latest in a series of firsts from the world's leading bank, ila was created to change the banking game in the Middle East and position Bahrain at the next frontier of the fintech revolution in the region. 

Our team worked with Bank ABC to create a brand that captured the heart of its brand promise - Banking that reflects you. Developed around the concept of a journey, the name ila - meaning 'to' in Arabic, presents the idea of a journey, and its destination. 

With a bold and dynamic logo, its beauty is in its duality. The logo literally reflects English to Arabic and mirrors the region's dual language audience. 

The ila brand encapsulates the Bank's mission to reflect the needs of its modern, tech-savvy users, propelling them on a journey from where they are, 'to' where they aspire 'to' be in the future.
