Our London team partners with I Can Be to take part in London Design Festival.
I Can Be is a charity that brings inner-city primary school children into the world of work often within the creative industry, helping them to discover the breadth of opportunity around them. They choose the areas which they work in very carefully, identifying where there are high levels of disadvantage less likelihood that children will be exposed to a variety of jobs or visit neighbourhoods outside of their own.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
The exhibition is a celebration of creativity and proof that we can all dream big. Asking iconic figures and renowned artists what they wanted to be when they grew up, we designed posters which are on display at our London studio. The response was overwhelming with the likes of Sir Paul McCartney, Milton Glaser and Jamie Oliver getting involved!
Designed to be minimal-cost and direct impact, I Can Be opens children’s eyes to the possibilities around and ahead of them. The goal of this exhibition is to raise much needed funds for I Can Be. All funds raised go straight to I Can Be and enables them to invest in the lives and futures of children in inner-city London.
Following this exhibition, the posters will be signed and auctioned to raise funds, enabling girls and boys to explore opportunities they otherwise may never be exposed to, building their curiosity and confidence along the way.
